She enjoys travelling to conduct cooking classes and healthy lifestyle seminars and is passionate not only about sharing with others the fantastic health benefits and culinary joys of a plant-powered way of eating, but also how the gospel message is closely intertwined with God’s health message. Right now, Bev and Randy are happily immersed in another hectic farming season, growing the luscious vegetables at the R&B Farm God has ordained for optimal health.

Ern Brake

Guest speaker

Ern Brake was born into a Canadian Air Force family in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He grew up in France, Germany, and Atlantic Canada. He was converted from postmodern atheism in 1980 at the age of 20 while attending Dalhousie University in Halifax. Ern resigned from his job as a train porter in order to keep the Sabbath. He traveled to Burman University, became the college newspaper editor before graduating with a BA degree, and moved to Newfoundland with his new wife and son, June and Michael, in 1985. Ern received both Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Andrews University in Michigan. After Newfoundland, Ern served as a pastor in the British Columbia, starting in 1997 and eventually joining the BC Conference office team in 2010 as the Ministerial Director, Health Ministries Director, and later as VP for Administration/Executive Secretary. Ern has enjoyed teaching hundreds of congregations and audiences throughout Canada, United States, the Philippines, and Bermuda on how to find God, health, and happiness through spiritual principles.
