At the age of 17, God drastically changed the direction of Joakim’s life. Since then, he has experienced a series of Fantastic Adventures In Trusting Him. In addition to preaching and teaching the gospel in many different countries, Joakim has co-founded IMPACT Norway, IMPACT Generation, the ASI Scandinavia Convention, and authored “What If There’s More? Discovering a Life of Radical Purpose.” Joakim loves to see God transform lives and firmly believes that He has great and exciting plans for His church, and its youth today. Currently, Joakim serves as the director of AFCOE Europe and the president of ASI Scandinavia.

­Pastor Justin Kim serves as the Assistant Director of Sabbath School & Personal Ministries and Editor of the Young Adult in Verse Bible Study Guide for the General Conference World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has also been an overseas missionary, local church pastor, and director of multiple departments. Pastor Kim graduated from a Catholic secondary school; He majored in sociology and biology at the Jewish-sponsored Brandeis University, researched at Harvard Medical, and studied theology and pastoral ministry at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. He is also the host of the in Verse telecast on Hope Channel (hopetv.org) and co-founder of Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC).  Pastor Kim has preached in more than 30 countries, is a husband to Rachel, a father to Noah and Nathaniel, a friend of books, and an enemy of cilantro.
